Inspiring photographer Jacqueline Vanek was born in Austria in 1984, and is an award-winning artist, and photographer. Along with her drummer, musician and artist husband, she operates Obnubil Studio. She specializes in achromatic, monochromatic, and tinted photography, often photographing herself in stunning self-portraits. Her work honours sexuality and counter-culture while visually hinting at elements of mystery, and magic.

She also photographs home-made gourmet food, artistically speaking through those pictures as a curiously inviting form of vegan activism, speaking also to personal well-being. Though some photos are from vegan restaurants, most of them are the recipes she makes herself.

One of the central forms her work takes on is in portraiture of musicians, music photography of bands, individuals, and other artists. Jacqueline's work borders on surrealism in its combination of natural, and artificial images, and costuming in a provocative way that contrasts with elegance. She also creates mystical scenes, forraying into various avenues of expression with photographs, and other mediums such as UI/UX and other alleys of graphic design, illustration, marketing, album art, and more.
